Hi everyone, I just wanted to check in and give you an update. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and well wishes over the past few days. It means so much to have the support of my incredible fans in a trying time like this. 

Unfortunately, doctors have ordered me to stay on vocal rest for the next few days, which means we won't be able to perform in Toronto and Montreal this week. My only focus is on getting better, and this should give my voice the chance to heal and put me in a place where I can continue this amazing tour.

I'm so sorry to all my Canadian fans coming to the shows and to Maroon 5 and Neon Trees, who have been amazing tour mates and people. But I can't wait to see all of you onstage soon.

Thanks again to all of you for your prayers and support. I'll see you Friday night in Connecticut.

Hi everyone. It pains me to write this more than I can express, but we need to cancel our set at Madison Square Garden tonight. 

After doing some damage to my voice over the past few shows, I've been ordered by doctors not to perform tonight in order to prevent any further harm while their treatment takes effect. I'm so sorry to disappoint anyone who is coming tonight, and upset that I won't be able to share in an amazing night at MSG with Maroon 5 and Neon Trees. 

I hope to be cleared in time to perform for tomorrow's show in Manchester, but will report any further updates to everyone.

We'll make it up to you, New York. Talk to you soon.
